Blancpain Men's Watches

Let Us Review The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Ocean Commitment III Watch

Swiss Blancpain presented the third series of Blancpain Ocean Commitment (BOC) limited edition diving watches.

Since the launch of the Fifty Fathoms – the first modern diving watch – in 1953, Blancpain has maintained a strong commitment to exploring and preserving the world's oceans.

Four years ago, in addition to Blancpain's annual support to expeditions and major oceanographic projects, the brand introduced a first series of limited edition BOC timepieces, followed by a second series in 2016.

Presenting The New Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Automatic Watch

First released in the late 1950s, and reintroduced in 2013, the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms has become a regular sight these past two years. Appreciated for its vintage-inspired design, Blancpain’s new collection of diving watches is none-the-less full of modern appeal. The new Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Automatic stays faithful to the features that made the 2013 model such a great watch. As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t change it!

On the Wrist:Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe Flyback Chronograph Ocean Commitment II Watch

My absolute favorite watches are pretty-looking sport models. There is a significant volume of these watches around, but really attractive ones are hard to find. Probably the biggest challenge in making a beautiful-looking sports blancpain bathyscaphe chronograph watch is to first make sure it is a great utility watch, and only then ensuring it is visually attractive. Doing both is no simple task, but success can yield the reward of a watch being a true classic.
